With the exception of registered assistance dogs, pets are not permitted.
No BBQ's are permitted at Hazel Lodge due to fire risk.
A deposit of 1/3 is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The balance of the Rental Charge must be paid no later than two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. Please make payments via personal cheque, bank transfer, debit/credit card or PayPal. If the balance has not been received by the due date, an overdue reminder will be issued, if the balance is still not received within four (4) days of that reminder, we reserve the right to treat the Booking as cancelled and the holidaymaker shall have no claim against us the owners for compensation or reimbursement whatsoever.
The holidaymaker’s (and all other members of the holidaymaker’s party’s) personal belongings and vehicles (together with their contents) are left at the Property entirely at their own risk. We shall accept no liability to the holidaymaker for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused to the holidaymaker or to the holidaymaker’s personal property (or to persons in the holidaymaker’s party or their personal property) during their stay at the Property except to the extent such loss, damage or injury is caused by the negligence or wilful default of us the owners.
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your booking costs are non-refundable under any circumstances. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost. If the cancellation is made giving sufficient time to allow the lodge to be re-let, the paid deposit can be used to make a re-booking within 12 months of the original booking date. It will be at the discretion of the owner to determine if this is possible.
NON-AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
The maximum number of guests is limited to four (4) persons at Hazel Lodge.
The minimum stay period is normally four (4) nights (Monday to Friday) or three (3) nights (Friday to Monday) unless this is varied by agreement. Longer minimum stays may be required during peak periods. If a rental is taken for less than the minimum stay, the guest will be charged the minimum stay period.
Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Facilities fees are included in the rental rate.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE
While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We provide beach towels for use in the hot tub. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property.
DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur so that we may replace items quickly for yours or the next guest’s benefit. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but if the damage or breakages are significant we may have to bill you for this.

Any booking obtained under false pretence will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
Any exceptions to the policies mentioned above must be approved in writing in advance.
Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the track or grass is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
No children under the age of 12 permitted in hot tubs at any time. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. DO NOT STAND/ SIT/ PLACE ITEMS ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. Refer to the hot tub policy before using the hot tub for further guidance.
WATER AND SEPTIC
The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products, face wipes, nappies etc should be flushed at any time. If it is found that inappropriate products have been flushed and clog the septic system you could be charged damages.
It is your responsibility to take out adequate travel insurance and cover for the duration your trip. We recommend that this is undertaken.
Any data collected during this booking will be stored on our computer(s). With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
